Hell of a show
This was so much fun, great to relisten to it before the shows coming up at the Mishawaka Amphitheater up in Poudre Canyon. I am so stoked we get both a solo Keller show and a WMD'S show in the same weekend. This is gonna be fun!!!

Although after a quick listen to Kiwi & SAR, it seems to be the best WMDS show I've seen/heard.

Lossy transfer?
This is a killer show, beautiful recording and insane music but I've downloaded the flac files twice now to make sure I'm not crazy and I am hearing a distinctly lossy sound on the recording. You can hear it in particular during any loud section or anytime an audience member yells. It's not so much the typically warbly high sound you often get, but it's an mp3 distortion type sound. It's really pretty bad. Was there a problem with this transfer or am I insane? Probably both but this should definitely be looked at and perhaps re-transfered. As it stands I would have to definitely not recommend downloading/trading these flac files. PLEASE FIX!

I read over your review and saw you had a copy of the 7-28-06 show in Atlantic City. I thouhgt I saw people taping but forgot to ask f it was going on any pubic forum. I drove all the way from Rochester NY and would KILL for a copy of it, no matter how bad it is. The show was a blast and Keller had a great time, you could see it. The show was filled with hits and also "Sultains of Swing" on the upright bass *(sick)*Beautiful place and the opening band Juggling Suns were great! Please e-mail me at dmbhead420@hotmail.com about any info on this copy(7-28-06)!
Thanks thanks and more thanks! espically for the time and effort you put into giving us listeners another chance to experience the concert!

taper section
**not a review of this recording**
that's great to hear travis! i coulden't agree more... keller shows (in all thier forms these days - wmds, keller & keeels, keller & transmitters, keller incident, ect....) really could use/ do need a taper section. i still can't figure out why he doesn't set up for this on a usual basis.
i had one good experiance on 07-28-06 when i tried to tape keller at the house of blues in atlantic city, nj. there, the house set up a similar protected area of a taper section just behind the SBD. (my recording is flawed, but there was one other taper to capture a recording, that has yet to surface) maybe the best keller taping experience for me, ever.
BUT- then i had the very worst taping experience ever on 11/02/06 at the brown theater in louisville, ky. there, i had 5th or 6th row seated tickets and the house would not let me relocate to a more taper friendly area. the box office said, because it was an assigned seated venue i would just have to record from my ticket location. -say what! that made no sense to me.
bottom line- theater taping is very difficult without a taper section. often front row balcony is a good enough area. but it really helps when artists who allow/encourage taping set up a good location for mics.
**a good location = center of room & protected. immediately behind the SBD is perfect. & if that's just not spaciously acceptable, immediatly next to the SBD.**
PLEASE KELLER, SET UP FOR A TAPER SECTION ALWAYS! GD & phish really knew what they were doing by selling taper tickets & having a protected section for them - makes sense to me & makes EVERYONE happy.
